Cut & Sew facilities are the heart and soul of a vibrant fashion industry, and StitchWorks, specializing in small-batch manufacturing is the only such facility in Central Indiana.

Launched in 2020, thanks to a grant from Allan Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation, StitchWorks thrived during the pandemic by making isolation gowns and masks for local hospitals and doctor offices. Since that time, the facility has also launched a Department of Labor Industrial Sewing Certificate Program as well as continuing to do production for other, non-medical clients.

StitchWorks is a vital piece of the fashion industry infrastructure and our goal is to be a resource to those committed to positive impact through responsible production of high quality garments as well as provide solutions centered on people, education, advanced manufacturing and upward mobility for workers.
